Cloud Operations Engineer

Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our SSDS team supporting the U.S. Navy’s Aegis Weapons System in Moorestown, NJ. This role requires strong experience in containerization, Kubernetes, DevOps, and cloud-natives operations. The position is fully on‑site in Moorestown, NJ with a salary range of $110,000–$135,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support containerized environments using Podman, Docker, and Docker Compose.
• Deploy, monitor, and scale applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable software deployment.
• Collaborate with development, security, and product teams to maintain services.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
• Support cloud-native and virtualization initiatives in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent).
• 5-7+ years of experience in cloud operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevOps Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Podman.
• Scripting experience with Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with Git or version control systems.
• Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Prometheus and Grafana).
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, and IAM concepts.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current interim or active security clearance (secret level or higher).
