Job summary

American College of Radiology (ACR) is seeking a detail‑oriented Systems Administrator to manage on‑premises and cloud environments, ensuring reliable LAN/WAN operation and core directory services. The role includes patching, security, and disaster recovery planning, with on‑call support in rotation.

You will maintain AWS infrastructure, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory/Entra ID, while collaborating with IT leadership to deliver secure, scalable IT services to a 40k+ member organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux servers.
• Experience administering AWS infrastructure and/or Microsoft 365 suites.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience with Cisco routing, switching, and security products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure uptime.
• Maintain AWS components (EC2, S3, IAM) and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including license management, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID, GPO, and user access controls.
• Provide security patches and maintenance within scheduled windows.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans with local and cloud backups.
• Collaborate with user community to solve technical problems and support daily ops.
• Serve as escalation point for helpdesk for complex issues.
• Establish change control processes and track project milestones.
