University at Buffalo is hiring a Systems Administrator II to provide on‑premises and cloud IT system support, design and implement new IT infrastructure and systems, and collaborate with team members and university constituents to uphold high operational standards.

This position supports a 24×7 environment with possible extended hours, holidays, and a strong emphasis on teamwork within Enterprise Infrastructure Services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer/technical field with three years of experience or a master’s degree with one year.
• Experience with Azure Cloud, Active Directory, MS Entra ID, PKI, and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States by start date; sponsorship is not guaranteed.

Aufgaben

• Provide on-premises and cloud IT system support.
• Design and implement IT infrastructure and systems for both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Collaborate with team members and university constituents to maintain high operational standards.
• Maintain and enhance technical and professional skills.
• Work collaboratively within Enterprise Infrastructure Services.
• Support a 24x7 environment with possible extended hours, including holidays.
