Job summary

Google Cloud Platform is seeking a Cloud Technical Solutions Engineer Manager, Networking (English) in Sunnyvale, CA or Austin, TX. You will lead a global team diagnosing complex customer problems and shaping network solutions.

You will leverage deep networking and cloud knowledge to drive high-impact guidance, tooling, and best practices for enterprise customers while collaborating with product and engineering teams. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience debugging code in Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Perl or JavaScript.
• Systems/Network administration with Linux/Unix, TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, load balancing.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTML and web technologies.
• English fluency for client relationship management.
• Experience in technical consulting for enterprise customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, resolve, and implement tools for customer issues on Google Cloud Platform products.
• Develop knowledge of Google product architectures and build faster diagnosis tools.
• Act as a consultant for internal stakeholders to resolve deployment obstacles.
• Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams to improve the product.
• Participate in a team providing 24/7 customer support, including non-standard hours.
