Job summary

MEDITECH is seeking a Network Engineering Analyst to design, implement, and support cloud-connected customer networks and VPNs. You will work on monitoring, asset management, security integration, and fiber/copper network support across customer sites, with travel required up to 15% in the US and Canada.

The role emphasizes strong networking knowledge, Fortinet FortiOS expertise, and effective communication. Hybrid work arrangement included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred and/or 2–3 years applicable work or military experience.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.
• Understanding of the Seven Layer OSI Model.
• Understanding of IP addressing and subnet masking.
• Understanding of routing and switching technologies.
• Expert knowledge of Fortinet Operating System (FortiOS).
• Fortinet NSE Certification(s).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• This role requires travel; a personal credit card may be needed for initial travel expenses.

Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, manage, and troubleshoot networking hardware connecting customer networks to cloud deployments.
• Design and support MEDITECH's cloud customer VPNs.
• Develop and support cloud-hosted, customer-based network monitoring and asset management.
• Integrate and manage software security and authentication features.
• Design, install, certify, and support MEDITECH's fiber optic and copper networks.
• Use and decode MEDITECH's network analyzers.
• Oversee remote access network operations.
• Debug code as it relates to access on MEDITECH networks.
• Travel up to 15% within the United States and Canada.
