Job summary

MEDITECH is seeking a Network Engineering Analyst to design, implement, and support cloud-connected customer networks and VPNs. You will work on monitoring, asset management, security integration, and fiber/copper network support across customer sites, with travel required up to 15% in the US and Canada.

The role emphasizes strong networking knowledge, Fortinet FortiOS expertise, and effective communication. Hybrid work arrangement included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree preferred and/or 2–3 years applicable work or military experience.
• Understanding of LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.
• Understanding of the Seven Layer OSI Model.
• Understanding of IP addressing and subnet masking.
• Understanding of routing and switching technologies.
• Expert knowledge of Fortinet Operating System (FortiOS).
• Fortinet NSE Certification(s).
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• This role requires travel; a personal credit card may be needed for initial travel expenses.

Responsibilities

Description

Network Engineering Analysts are responsible for the design, implementation, and support of MEDITECH’s cloud-based customer networking equipment and connectivity. As a member of our Cloud Services team, your job would involve:

• Configure, implement, manage, and troubleshoot the networking hardware that connects MEDITECH's customer networks to our cloud hosted deployments
• Designing and supporting MEDITECH's cloud customer VPNs
• Developing and supporting MEDITECH’s cloud-hosted, customer-based network monitoring, and asset management of our hardware deployed at customer sites
• Integrating and managing software security and authentication features
• Designing, installing, certifying, and supporting of all of MEDITECH's fiber optic and copper data/voice/video networks
• Using and decoding MEDITECH's network analyzers
• Overseeing remote access network operations
• Debugging code as it relates to access on MEDITECH's networks
• Traveling 15% of the time, anywhere within the United States and Canada.

• This is a position that involves travel. In order to fulfill that requirement, you must have access to a personal credit card (or the ability to obtain one) to manage initial expenses incurred during business travel. The company provides timely and complete reimbursement for all approved expenses as outlined in our travel reimbursement guidelines.
• You may be required to show proof of vaccination when traveling to a customer site unless you have an approved medical or religious exemption.

Hiring salary range:$54,000- $72,000 per year.

Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
