Job summary

Calance is seeking a Sr Cloud Network Engineer with a strong routing and switching background and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking to support enterprise networks across on‑premises and Azure.

The hybrid on‑site role requires coordinating migrations and ongoing operations, configuring NSGs, UDRs, VPN Gateway/ExpressRoute, and ensuring reliable connectivity between data centers and cloud resources.

Qualifications

• Strong enterprise routing and switching experience.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking, including NSGs, UDRs, VPN Gateway/ExpressRoute.
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises to Azure network connectivity.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting.

Sr Cloud Network Engineer Enterprise Network & Azure Connectivity

Hybrid on site 2-3 days a week in New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA

Overview:

We are seeking a Sr Cloud Network Engineer with a strong routing and switching background and experience supporting Microsoft Azure networking. This role will support enterprise network initiatives spanning both on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud environments, ensuring secure, reliable connectivity between data center and cloud resources.

The ideal candidate has deep enterprise networking experience, understands hybrid network architectures, and is comfortable working with Azure networking services to support migrations, connectivity, and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises and Azure environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing and switching to support hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Implement and maintain Azure networking components to support enterprise applications.
• Support network migrations and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong enterprise routing and switching experience.

• Network Security Groups (NSGs)
• User-Defined Routes (UDRs)
• VPN Gateway and/or ExpressRoute connectivity
• Experience supporting hybrid on-premises to Azure network connectivity.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Cisco Nexus and/or Catalyst platforms.
• Experience navigating Cisco ACI environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise DNS and load balancing technologies.
• Experience supporting network migrations or data center modernization initiatives.
• Familiarity with change-controlled production environments.
