Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks engineers for HBMA Sustainment and Development in Aurora, CO. You will develop and sustain software for cloud-enabled data systems, ensuring security, integrity and availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will apply best practices to improve software quality and process efficiency, supporting both sustainment and new feature work in a Kam style DevSecOps environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting test strategies for cloud-native apps.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes and distributed systems testing.
• Design scalable, secure test solutions aligned with architecture.
• Expertise in validating security, CI/CD gates, and DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Architect, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks for cloud-native apps in Kubernetes.
• Design automated testing across CI/CD pipelines: integration, regression, API, contract, performance, security.
• Integrate security and quality controls into pipelines for reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with software, DevOps, SRE, security, and product teams.
• Use observability tools to validate behavior and diagnose issues in microservices.
• Lead root-cause analysis to improve reliability and performance.
• Support sustainment and new features with evolving test coverage.
