Job summary

Koch Business Solutions, LP is seeking a Software Architect to provide technical leadership for a multi-tenant SaaS platform in the U.S. market. You will define architecture, guide engineering standards, and deliver scalable cloud-native applications with PostgreSQL data models and embedded analytics.

Lead the design of APIs and full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TS, Node.js, and NestJS, while mentoring engineers and driving IaC via Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience designing web apps with modern frontend stacks (React/TypeScript).
• Experience building APIs/backend in Node.js/NestJS/Express or equivalent.
• Proven PostgreSQL data modeling, indexing, and query optimization.
• Hands-on with AWS services (3+ of EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Technical lead on production software applications.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve architecture for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.
• Lead design and delivery of full-stack solutions using React, Next.js, TS, Node.js, NestJS.
• Architect APIs, integrations, and service patterns for secure, maintainable solutions.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL data models and performance.
• Establish cloud standards across AWS services (RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, Cognito, QuickSight).
• Deliver embedded analytics with AWS QuickSight (dashboard design, RLS, data modeling).
• Drive architecture reviews, decisions, and engineering standards for scale, resiliency, security, observability.
• Mentor engineers throughout the SDLC and drive IaC via Terraform and CI/CD.
