Job summary

Invictus International seeks a Network Engineer to Fort Meade, MD, responsible for planning, designing, and building robust cloud-native web applications using AWS and Kubernetes. You will work with customers to capture requirements, prototype interfaces, and ensure secure, scalable solutions within an Agile process.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related experience or equivalent substitution, and active TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7 years related work experience, or 7+ years with substitution option of degree.
• Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, or JNCIE are preferred.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, wireless, data center networking, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Plan, research, design, and model robust cloud-native web applications.
• Acquire understanding of customer technology and use of cloud and container tech like AWS and Kubernetes.
• Design, create, test, and maintain web front-end apps hosted in Cloud Service Providers.
• Interact with customer and team to gather requirements and prototype web applications.
• Analyze requirements to determine effective web technologies to satisfy needs.
• Coordinate creation and integration of necessary technology components into a coherent design.
• Follow a formal Agile-based design process.
• Design and develop visually pleasing, content-rich interfaces with intuitive navigation.
• Deliver comprehensive web app solutions to satisfy customer requirements and maintain configuration management.
