Job summary

Acclaim Technical Services in the United States is seeking a Cloud Engineer with TS/SCI clearance for a Prime contract in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS, applying IaC and automation to support development, testing, and production environments.

You will work with OpenTofu or Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), Ansible, and Python within CI/CD pipelines to ensure security, reliability, and cost efficiency for mission critical systems.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional cloud engineering or DevOps experience.
• AWS certification (Solutions Architect/DevOps Engineer) required.
• IaC experience with OpenTofu and/or Terraform.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment and management.
• Proficiency with Ansible for automation.
• Strong Git skills and modern branching workflows.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Solid networking knowledge and CI/CD concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, or 10 years of experience in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure and IaC pipelines.
• Develop automation scripts and playbooks with Ansible.
• Scale and manage Kubernetes-based applications (EKS).
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and source control with Git.
• Write Python automation to improve operations.
• Ensure security and compliance with STE/STN standards.
• Monitor, log, and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate across teams to meet mission needs.
