Job summary

Invictus International is seeking a LAN/WAN Engineering Subject Matter Expert IV - Cloud Solution Architect in the Alexandria, VA area. The role focuses on cloud information systems architecture, telecommunications design, and cloud implementation with TS/SCI clearance and CI polygraph eligibility.

You will lead executive-level teams, guide complex cloud and infrastructure problems, and ensure alignment with emerging technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4 years may substitute for degree.
• 8+ years of relevant experience beyond education.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
• DoD/IC environment experience desired
• DoD 8570 IAT II and CCNP (or equivalent) certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership on executive-level project teams with cloud architecture expertise.
• Guide complex cloud and infrastructure problems to align with best practices.
• Advise on cloud trends, architectures, and procurement strategies.
• Lead technical tasks with advanced cloud computing, data centers, and distributed systems.
• Coordinate with government personnel to meet customer needs and manage budgets.
• Develop state-of-the-art techniques for cloud-based hardware and software systems.
• Design and develop complex cloud system architectures and hardware concepts.
• Resolve hardware/software interface issues and guide emerging cloud technologies.
• Lead development of network architecture specifications and system integration strategies.
• Provide technical leadership through development, integration, and testing phases.
• Conduct system performance optimization focusing on security, scalability, and cost.
• Perform end-to-end system trade analyses to optimize operations and lifecycle performance.
• Communicate complex technical information to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
