Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking Software Developers to support a large-scale modernization of legacy healthcare apps into cloud-native solutions. You will work on full-stack development using .NET Core/C# and Angular, building REST APIs, and deploying to Azure with Docker and Kubernetes.

This contract role emphasizes modernizing legacy systems and contributing to CI/CD pipelines. You should have 5+ years in software development, strong Azure and database experience, and be comfortable with Agile practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET technologies.
• Experience developing front-end applications with Angular.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases.
• Experience developing applications in Azure cloud environments and using Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core/C# and Angular.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and web services.
• Support modernization of legacy applications into cloud-native architectures.
• Build and deploy applications within Azure cloud environments.
• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Participate in Agile development practices, code reviews, and sprint planning.
• Troubleshoot production issues and assist with incident resolution.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Follow software engineering best practices for testing, security, and maintainability.
