Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native applications using .NET, Angular, and AWS. You will build scalable APIs, microservices, and modern UIs while collaborating with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams from Charlotte, NC.

Role emphasizes clean architecture, performance tuning, and DevOps practices with Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and C# 12+.
• Proven experience building scalable REST APIs and microservices.
• Expertise with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Strong front-end experience with Angular 17 (RxJS, NgRx).
• Hands-on AWS cloud services including Lambda, ECS, EKS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud-native deployments.
• Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of OOP, LINQ, async/await, and modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Core and C# 12+.
• Build scalable APIs and microservices with DI and async patterns.
• Develop modern UIs with Angular 17 and RxJS/NgRx.
• Design and optimize SQL Server, PostgreSQL databases for performance.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS (Lambda/ECS/EKS).
• Manage Docker-based apps and Kubernetes workloads in AWS.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka.
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
