Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a software engineer to drive analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of leading software experiences. You will collaborate across teams, adhere to DevOps and Agile practices, and deliver scalable solutions on Azure.

The role emphasizes high-quality code, security, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, Azure, REST APIs, and modern software engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Low latency, scalable software design, cloud-native architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, API security and versioning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operate and maintain products.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions on Azure (AKS, Azure SQL).
• Develop high-performance .NET Core/.NET 5+ applications and REST APIs.
• Architect microservices focusing on scalability, resiliency and maintainability.
• Lead CI/CD automation and containerization using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitLab.
• Collaborate with product, architecture and business teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Ensure code quality through automated testing, reviews, performance optimization and security best practices.
