Job summary

NiCE is seeking a Software Engineer for the User Hub team in Utah to build and modernize features that power the CXone platform. You will work across the stack with Java, Angular, and cloud‑native technologies to deliver scalable solutions used by large organizations.

The role emphasizes collaboration, problem solving, and delivering high‑quality software. A flexible hybrid model includes 2 days onsite and 3 days remote, with the Sandy, Utah office as the base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience developing applications with Java.
• Experience building modern web applications using Angular.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Understanding of software design principles, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance features within the User Hub platform.
• Build intuitive user experiences using Angular and modern web technologies.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java.
• Leverage AWS services and cloud‑native architectures to deliver highly available solutions.
• Investigate and resolve production issues through log analysis, troubleshooting, and root‑cause investigation.
• Partner closely with Product, Architecture, QA, and global engineering teams to deliver business value.
• Drive software quality through testing, automation, and a quality‑first mindset.
• Utilize AI‑powered development tools to improve productivity while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Contribute ideas that improve customer experiences, team processes, and platform capabilities.
• Balance feature development with operational excellence to ensure a reliable experience for customers.
