Job summary

Mark43 is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for its mission-critical public safety platform. You will automate deployments, improve observability, and support engineering teams to deliver software efficiently.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Security, and cross-functional teams to ensure cloud infrastructure is scalable, secure, and highly available, leveraging AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD, and Grafana.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or similar infrastructure role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and deployment automation tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience scripting or programming to automate infrastructure operations and tooling.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure reliability, security, and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive infrastructure projects to scale and stabilize the Mark43 platform.
• Develop, improve, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for app builds, testing, and deployments.
• Improve platform observability with monitoring, logging, alerts, and troubleshooting.
• Build internal tools and automation to boost developer productivity.
• Partner with engineering teams to adopt DevOps best practices and strengthen platform reliability.
• Contribute to on-call rotations and incident response for production infra.
