Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a customer-facing Data Engineering & Streaming Specialist to join our global team. You will lead engagements, design scalable, cloud-native data architectures, and demonstrate business outcomes to technical and executive stakeholders.

In this mid-senior role, you will drive PoCs, solution sizing, and platform adoption focused on data prep, CDC, streaming, and AI readiness, while shaping product direction through customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading enterprise data pipelines and streaming solutions.
• Proven ability to run PoCs and MVPs that translate to production deployments.
• Strong communication across technical teams to executive leadership.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures, data governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements by designing scalable cloud-native data architectures.
• Support PoCs, solution sizing, and platform adoption focused on data prep, CDC, streaming, and AI readiness.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align customer outcomes with product vision.
• Evangelize open-source data technologies and contribute to AI readiness initiatives.
