Job summary

Quindar in Washington, DC area is building cloud-native ground satellite mission operations software. You will develop backend through Python and AWS, creating scalable APIs and integrating with EC2, S3, RDS, and containers. Satellites are treated like servers, connecting every 90 minutes.

Our small, fast-moving team values sharp engineers who can work across backend, DevSecOps, and AI tooling. You'll join an Agile Scrum environment, collaborating with frontend and product teams to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3+ years of professional backend or full-stack development experience.
Experience with Python, APIs, and AWS services.
Familiarity with AI platform APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.
U.S. Person status required – we are not sponsoring visas at this time.

Responsibilities

Develop backend software capabilities and REST/GraphQL APIs.
Integrate with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate, EKS) for scalable, secure, cost-conscious solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment.
Contribute to CI/CD tooling, and software architecture maintenance.
