Job summary

Quindar is building cloud-native satellite mission operations software that treats satellites like servers. You’ll develop backend services in Python, integrate with AWS, and work across API design, AI integrations, and DevSecOps in a fast-moving Agile team.

This role focuses on scalable, secure, and cost-efficient software for thousands of satellites. You’ll collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, product managers, and security specialists to ship reliable space-ground software.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field; 3+ years backend or full-stack development
• U.S. Person status required – visa sponsorship not available
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance
• Experience building scalable backend services with Python and AWS
• Familiarity with AI platforms APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AskSage) and containerized deployments

Responsibilities

• Develop backend software using Python and AWS services with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot APIs for AI platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
• Contribute to DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling and software architecture
• Participate in operational improvements for thousands of satellites
