Job summary

Quindar is seeking a software engineer to develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS. You will create APIs, contribute to both backend and frontend efforts, and support mission-critical software for U.S. government work and Quindar’s core product.

This hybrid role requires close collaboration with satellite operators and customers, with two in-office days in Irvine, CA or Arvada, CO and flexible remote work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years of professional backend development/DevOps experience.
• Active US Security Clearance (TS/SCI).

Responsibilities

• Develop ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services.
• Build APIs and integrate with frontend and backend components.
• Collaborate with satellite operators, customers, and engineers to deliver scalable, secure, cost-effective software.
• Contribute to Quindar’s core product while supporting mission-specific software development.
