Job summary

Quindar in Colorado is seeking a backend software engineer to build ground satellite operations software using Python and AWS services. You will design APIs, implement features, and optimize scalability, security, cost, and performance.

You'll work with cross-functional teams in an Agile Scrum environment, contributing across backend, DevSecOps, and architecture tasks as needed to support thousands of satellites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 3+ years of backend or full-stack development experience.
• U.S. Person status and ability to obtain/hold U.S. Secret Clearance.
• ITAR compliance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend software in Python and APIs, focusing on scalability and reliability.
• Integrate with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Fargate/EKS) and manage infrastructure as code.
• Collaborate with frontend, product managers, and security teams in Agile Scrum.
• Contribute to DevSecOps, CI/CD tooling and software architecture.
