Cloud Security Web is seeking an experienced API Architect to lead secure, scalable API design for enterprise banking applications. You will drive API governance, implement middleware and microservices, and shape cloud-native strategies using AWS, Azure, or GCP.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years in software engineering and 5+ years in API architecture, with hands-on experience in Docker, CI/CD tools, and security standards such as OAuth2/JWT/SAML/OIDC/TLS.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of API architecture experience.
• Experience with cloud-native microservices, API governance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise API architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design and develop scalable REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs.
• Create and maintain API standards, governance, versioning, and lifecycle management.
• Develop API specifications using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Design and implement microservices using DDD.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement API security using OAuth2, JWT, SAML, OIDC, and TLS.
• Design event-driven architectures with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Implement API Gateway routing, throttling, monitoring, and security.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of API platforms.
• Optimize API infra for scalability, performance, and availability.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, developers, DevOps, and security teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
