Job summary

Siemens Software in the United States is seeking a Web AI Software Engineer to transform desktop AI and simulation tools into scalable cloud-native solutions. You'll work across application, AI/simulation, and cloud layers to deliver production-ready capabilities.

You will build end-to-end features, enable cloud-based AI workflows, and collaborate with AI/ML engineers, product teams, and software engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with production-quality applications.
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, Object-Oriented Programming, and software design.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience developing scalable software applications or services.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing cloud-native applications and understanding modern cloud architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across AI, simulation, product, and software engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end capabilities: Design, implement, test, and deliver scalable software features across the application and cloud stack.
• Cloud-enable AI and simulation: Integrate existing AI and simulation capabilities into cloud-based workflows.
• Solve complex technical problems across application, AI/simulation, data, and cloud technologies.
• Develop and productionize prototypes using emerging cloud, web, AI, and platform technologies.
• Build scalable platform components leveraging modern cloud architecture, APIs, containers, orchestration, and real-time communication.
• Collaborate across disciplines with AI/ML engineers, simulation experts, product teams, and software engineers.
