Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a software developer to advance localization efforts through AI-enabled applications, data workflows, and language model improvements. You will design, code, and optimize localization agents, AI-powered apps, and data pipelines, collaborating across product and localization teams.

You will contribute to multilingual projects, implement RAG data retrieval, and deploy AI solutions within enterprise-grade environments, leveraging cloud platforms and modern AI tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Master’s degree a plus but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience developing applications and solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.) and multilingual projects.
• Experience implementing custom AI and RAG systems.
• Building and optimizing vector databases for information retrieval.
• Implementing embedding models for document processing.
• Creating custom chunking strategies and preprocessing pipelines.
• Developing context-aware prompt engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, deploy and document AI capabilities and AI/data-driven solutions.
• Design and build chatbots and virtual assistants.
• Develop and deploy web apps and data workflows.
• Optimize localization data workflows and terminology management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.
• Stay updated with NLP/ML advancements and research.
