Flexcompute, a cutting-edge technology startup, seeks a mid-level software engineer to join our Wisconsin-based engineering team. You will help build scalable backend services, APIs, and platform infrastructure for cloud-native simulation and collaboration platforms.

In this role you will work across multiple layers of the engineering platform, collaborating with experienced engineers and product leaders, with opportunities to grow into advanced architecture and distributed systems over time.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in one or more of Python, C++, Rust, Go, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience building backend systems, APIs or distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and platform infrastructure.
• Develop features for workspace and collaboration workflows.
• Improve scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud systems.
