Freedom Technology Solutions Group in Warrenton, VA is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to advance AI/ML data science initiatives. You will join a team supporting cloud infrastructure in an enterprise setting with a focus on automation, security, and accreditation practices.

The role requires hands-on AWS and Linux experience, database patching (RDS, MySQL, Oracle), security controls, and proficiency with configuration management tools.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
• Experience patching and maintaining databases (RDS, MySQL, Oracle).
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
• Knowledge of federated identity, RBAC, authentication/authorization.
• Understanding of secure-cloud configuration (CloudTrail, AWS Config) and IAM.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with security (NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven on-the-job experience as a system administrator and scripting ability.
