depthfirst is building AI-powered security intelligence to detect and remediate software vulnerabilities. This Infrastructure Software Engineer role focuses on building, scaling, and securing the cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure that powers the company's production systems, sandbox management, and workload orchestration.

Competenze

• Experience building and operating cloud infrastructure and production systems in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, including workload scheduling, networking, resource management, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Strong software engineering skills in a language such as Go, with experience designing, building, and maintaining production services.
• Experience developing distributed systems, including handling concurrency, retries, partial failures, and resource lifecycle management.
• Solid understanding of Linux, containers, networking, and cloud security fundamentals.

Mansioni

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters supporting production systems and engineering teams.
• Design and develop production sandbox management and orchestration services, including APIs and distributed coordination for allocation, isolation, health monitoring, and resource lifecycle management.
• Improve workload scheduling, autoscaling, and capacity management to support growing and variable demand.
• Strengthen infrastructure security through workload isolation, access controls, network policies, and secure configuration.
• Debug production issues across service code, Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and cloud infrastructure, then implement durable fixes.
