Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to design, implement, and maintain the security architecture for cloud-based client systems supporting government programs, building security tooling (SIEM, vulnerability management, automation) and supporting RMF/JSIG authorization activities.

You will own security controls across cloud environments (IAM, encryption, network), deliver automation with Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash or Python, and provide

Qualifications

• Experience implementing NIST 800-53 and RMF for DoD/USG systems.
• Hands-on with security tooling: SIEM, vulnerability management, automation.
• Cloud experience in AWS or Azure; DoD 8570 IASAE II or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across cloud-based systems (IAM, encryption, network).
• Engineer and administer security tooling (SIEM, vulnerability management).
• Develop security automation (Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Provide input into RMF artifacts (SSP, SCTM, POA&Ms, Risk Assessments).
• Support incident detection, alert tuning, and telemetry improvements.
