MetalBear is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to head the Cloud Integrations Team. You will design and ship cloud integration features, stay code-active, and work with Kubernetes and cloud services to enable seamless, scalable environments.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI-enabled development practices, and partner with Product and users to expand adoption in a remote-first startup culture.

Competenze

• Minimum 1 year leading engineering teams.
• 4+ years of production-grade coding experience in Rust (preferred) or C/C++.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
• Strong systems-level thinking and debugging in distributed environments.
• Comfortable working async in a remote-first startup.

Mansioni

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of cloud integration features (queue splitting, DB branching, etc.).
• Stay hands-on and contribute to the codebase.
• Collaborate with Kubernetes, cloud services, DBs, and message brokers.
• Set technical direction and maintain high engineering standards.
• Drive AI usage across the team and roadmap execution.
• Hire, mentor engineers, and grow the team.
• Partner with Product and users to drive adoption and expansion.
