Job summary

BankUnited is seeking Cloud Infrastructure Engineers to join a team managing provisioning, monitoring, recovery, and automation of cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes fast learning, self-starting, and a drive to automate operations while improving cloud design for security and availability.

Two opportunities exist: Hybrid in Miami Lakes, FL and Remote evening shift (4:00PM–1:00AM ET). Experience with Terraform/Ansible/Jenkins is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT/IT security related education or experience.
• 3+ years architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins.
• 3+ years infrastructure experience including backups, DR, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Participates in post-incident reviews and action items to reduce downtime.
• Deploys and maintains distributed systems with security best practices.
• Manages day-to-day cloud infrastructure ops including deployments, monitoring, and DR planning.
• Creates automated monitoring/reporting for cloud health and cost optimization.
• Maintains SOPs and knowledge articles for new features and changes.
