Job summary

Northern Technologies Group in Colorado Springs, CO, is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support the MDA under the IRES contract. The role focuses on migrating functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid clouds, designing client-specific cloud solutions, and ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient cloud environments.

You will help automate infrastructure, plan cloud architecture, test and optimize solutions, and work with engineers and platform operations to

Qualifications

• Migration of functions and networks to private, public, and hybrid clouds.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models.
• Experience with enterprise server OS including RHEL 7/8 and Windows Server 2019+.
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II certification.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Migrate functions and networks to cloud infrastructures.
• Design, plan, and implement client cloud solutions.
• Ensure cloud networks are properly sized and responsive to user demands.
• Scale cloud services to meet growing demands.
• Define security strategies on cloud networks.
• Develop infrastructure automation for rapid delivery.
• Provide architectural vision and roadmaps, and work with Engineers and Platform Operations.
