Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure focused on AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC. You will work across data workloads, messaging systems, and monitoring to ensure robust operations.

Key responsibilities include implementing Terraform-driven provisioning, managing EKS clusters, and integrating Grafana observability with alerting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS EKS, EC2 and S3.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience with messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Experience with routing and DNS, and observability tools like Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for high-volume workloads.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized workloads with Kubernetes.
• Design cloud infrastructure on AWS using EC2 and S3.
• Develop IaC with Terraform to automate provisioning.
• Configure routing and DNS for highly available systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Grafana.
• Collaborate with dev teams to streamline CI/CD and deployment processes.
• Apply security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
• Support large-scale, fast-paced projects.
