Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services is hiring an Infrastructure Delivery Installation Technician in Frederick, MD to support the design, installation, and ongoing operation of AWS global infrastructure. You will work with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment to move, install, and cabling of large enterprise equipment and ensure safety and efficiency in 24/7 operations.

The role requires physical capability, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and with teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hardware repair, cabling, or data center operations
• Experience with enterprise equipment installation and safety standards
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and follow procedures

Responsibilities

• Move and install large enterprise equipment
• Install fiber and copper cabling and patch panels
• Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation
• Follow established hardware installation procedures and perform break-fix activities
• Operate tools for material handling safely
