Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Cloud Operations Manager in Philadelphia to oversee cloud infrastructure, lead a team of Cloud Engineers and SREs, and implement IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation. The role focuses on reliability, security, cost management, and scalable architectures across AWS services.

The ideal candidate has 14+ years in IT, with 5+ years AWS leadership experience, and strong skills in automation, monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic cloud

Qualifications

• 14+ years of IT experience in large enterprises.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing AWS cloud environments and leading cloud operations teams.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Deep understanding of cloud architecture, AWS services and solutions.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform) and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute long-term cloud strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers and SREs.
• Automation: Implement IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Security Compliance: Enforce security measures and data protection in the cloud.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Ensure 24/7 availability and root cause analysis.
• Performance Optimization: Improve latency and availability.
• Cost Optimization: Manage cloud spend and optimize costs.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with AWS and third-party vendors.
