Job summary

Veriipro seeks an experienced cloud-focused architect to design scalable, highly available AWS infrastructure. You will lead reliability initiatives, develop IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and manage EC2, ECS, Route 53, ELB, Lambda, SQS, S3, EFS, and RDS.

You will automate provisioning and deployments, establish DR practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor cloud teams while collaborating with security, DevOps, and engineering.

Qualifications

• Significant AWS architecture and cloud engineering experience.
• Hands-on with AWS services and enterprise infrastructure.
• AWS Certification preferred/required.
• Strong IaC, Terraform and CloudFormation YAML knowledge.
• Hands-on with EC2, ECS, Route 53, ELB, Lambda, SQS, S3, EFS, RDS.
• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.
• Experience designing highly available, scalable architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical leadership abilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, highly available, and resilient AWS infrastructure.

• Lead cloud infrastructure engineering and reliability initiatives across AWS environments.

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation (YAML).

• Design and manage AWS services including EC2, ECS, Route 53, Elastic Load Balancing, Lambda, SQS, S3, EFS, and RDS.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, deployment, and operational processes.

• Establish best practices for reliability, scalability, availability, performance, and disaster recovery.

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

• Develop automation and operational tooling using Python.

• Collaborate with application, security, DevOps, and engineering teams to deliver robust cloud solutions.

• Contribute to cloud architecture standards, engineering practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cloud and infrastructure engineering teams.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Significant experience in AWS architecture, cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or SRE.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and enterprise infrastructure.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification preferred/required.

• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform and CloudFormation YAML.

• Hands-on experience with:EC2,ECS,Route 53,Elastic Load Balancing,Lambda,SQS,S3,EFS,RDS

• Strong Python scripting and automation skills.

• Experience designing highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical leadership capabilities.

• Ability to work across architecture, engineering, development, and operations teams.
