Job summary

Network Center, Inc. is seeking an Infrastructure Administrator to support customer server, network, cloud, and Microsoft infrastructure across Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, 365, and Azure environments.

You will troubleshoot, implement, and optimize solutions while collaborating with engineers and architects to deliver reliable services. Ideal candidates have 4+ years of hands-on infrastructure experience, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting servers, networks, operating systems, storage, cloud, or similar infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networking, virtualization, cloud, and security.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Hyper-V and/or VMware.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Experience with backup and recovery technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with engineers, architects, and customers.
• A customer-first mindset with the ability to understand why a customer needs something, not simply implement what was requested.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve customer server, network, cloud, and Microsoft infrastructure.
• Support and implement Windows Server, Hyper-V/VMware, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Entra ID environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking, firewalls, switching, routing, VPNs, and wireless infrastructure.
• Help manage backup, disaster recovery, security, system performance, and availability.
• Support modern Microsoft technologies including Intune, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure Backup, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, deployments, and customer projects.
• Work with NCI Engineers and Solutions Architects to design and implement technology solutions.
• Clearly document work and proactively communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Look for opportunities to improve customer environments through better processes, tools, automation, and technology.
