Job summary
Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Arlington, VA is seeking an Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to help design next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware. You will drive innovation in complex designs, collaborating with world-class engineers in our product development lab.
The role requires a US citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance. You will participate in system-level architecture decisions and collaborate with FPGA/firmware teams to define interfaces and requirements,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields.
- 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience, or experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Experience in motherboard design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
Responsibilities
- Participate in system-level hardware architecture decisions and technical requirements
- Support new product introduction (NPI) processes with Senior Hardware Engineers
- Partner with FPGA/firmware teams to define system interfaces and requirements
