Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an Electrical Hardware Development Engineer to drive the development of next-generation cloud infrastructure hardware. You will work on complex PCBA designs with FPGA SoCs in our product development lab.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits, ensure EMI/EMC compliance, and scale production with contract manufacturers. U.S. citizenship and clearance suitability are required.

Qualifications

• Design for cost, test, and manufacturing (DFx) experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years hardware engineering experience.
• Experience with FPGA SoC hardware integration, validation, and debugging.
• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex PCB designs with FPGA SoCs.
• Support hardware architecture decisions and requirements.
• Assist NPI processes with contract manufacturers.
• Develop and validate high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Ensure EMI/EMC, thermal, and signal integrity compliance.
• Define hardware interfaces with FPGA/firmware teams.
• Participate in design reviews and drive technical consensus.
