Job summary

NetApp is growing its Cloud Hyperscaler technical support team in the US, Europe and APAC. This Technical Support Engineer role focuses on diagnosing and solving complex storage and cloud-related issues, delivering high-quality solutions to partner escalations via email, phone and chat.

You will join a hybrid work model with three days in the Raleigh, NC or Wichita, KS offices, handling after-hours on-call responsibilities and collaborating with global engineering teams to improve reliability

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in data management systems & storage platforms across varied workloads and environments (ONTAP preferred).
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree; or 3–5 years with a Master’s degree or equivalent.
Strong operational expertise with hyperscaler cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI).
Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
Creative problem solving and ability to work with enterprise customers globally.
Willingness to work after hours and handle weekend on-call duties (compensated).

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality solutions to partner escalations via email, phone and chat.
Diagnose, troubleshoot and debug complex software, file system or network issues in enterprise cloud-native storage.
Report design, reliability and maintenance problems to global NetApp engineering teams.
Train Tier1 Cloud partners and help enhance team processes and workflows.
