Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a hands-on Systems Integration Senior Specialist to deploy, automate, govern, and support enterprise API and AI gateway solutions on Kubernetes in Atlanta, GA. You will establish reusable deployment and security patterns, integrate gateway capabilities with cloud-native platforms, and help teams follow enterprise standards.

The role requires deep experience with API gateways, Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, and AWS, along with strong security and production-support skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in DevOps/platform/cloud/Kubernetes engineering or similar roles.
• 3+ years hands-on with API gateways and ingress gateways, policy enforcement, traffic control.
• 4+ years Kubernetes experience including deployments, networking, autoscaling, troubleshooting.
• 4+ years DevOps automation using Git, CI/CD, Helm, Terraform, IaC, automated deployments.
• 3+ years AWS experience including EKS, networking, IAM, certificates, observability.
• 3+ years implementing API security controls (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, TLS/mTLS).
• 2+ years supporting production platforms with monitoring, incident response, tech docs.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Travel as required by client/project needs.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and support enterprise API and AI gateway solutions on Kubernetes.
• Build and manage gateway workloads on Kubernetes (AWS EKS or similar).
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Helm charts, Terraform modules, GitOps processes.
• Configure ingress, TLS, routing, authentication, authorization, and gateway policies.
• Define reusable gateway patterns and guide developers to standards.
• Perform design reviews, troubleshoot, upgrade, monitor, and document operations.
• Collaborate with application, cloud, network, security, and platform teams to resolve issues.
