Job summary

Google LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst for the Compute Infrastructure Business in Sunnyvale/Chicago. The role focuses on managing the P&L for the Compute Engine portfolio, driving financial forecasting, and informing leadership with data-driven insights to optimize investments and pricing decisions.

You'll partner with Product and Finance teams to shape roadmap priorities, budgets, and profitability, while supporting capital and operating expenditure alignment with capacity needs and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
• 4 years of FP&A, consulting, or related experience.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling.
• Proficient in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L for Google Compute Engine portfolio and analyse financial performance.
• Lead monthly and quarterly gross margin reviews and forecasts.
• Collaborate with Product and Finance to drive pricing and roadmap decisions.
• Support GTM initiatives and NPI with unit economics and profitability assessments.
• Coordinate CapEx and OpEx investments with Capacity and Product Finance teams.
