Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Principal Architect to drive enterprise-scale infrastructure and security architecture across cloud, data centers, and identity protections. You will guide technology choices, define roadmaps, and ensure regulatory alignment in a global, highly regulated environment.

As a subject matter expert, you will lead security architecture efforts, oversee architecture reviews, and promote AI-enabled engineering patterns with strong governance and auditability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 10 years of applied experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise across infrastructure technologies, security technologies, cloud platforms, networking, data center, virtualization, storage and compute infrastructures.
• Experience applying enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within architecture and engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and data sensitivity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Advise cross-functional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture across infrastructure, security, and cloud domains.
• Drive reuse-first adoption of enterprise AI capabilities within architecture workflows with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps spanning infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and security priorities.
• Lead senior security architecture subject matter expert initiatives across multiple security domains.
• Lead architecture reviews for critical applications and major investments, guiding security and infrastructure design.
• Identify risks and define strategic mitigation aligned with security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Establish AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across SDLC with traceability and security controls.
• Collaborate with global technology teams to present architecture recommendations to senior leadership.
