Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Senior Enterprise Architect to lead the design, governance, and continuous improvement of the firm’s enterprise application architecture in a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

The role focuses on defining architecture standards, roadmaps, and reusable patterns, connecting business capabilities with scalable technology solutions across Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM. Strong stakeholder engagement is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services such as API Management, Logic Apps, and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails that support secure, scalable, and standardized delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, solution patterns, and related artifacts within ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards, solution approvals, and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor, helping identify risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across platforms.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices, maturity, and alignment with target-state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
