Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs, governs, and continuously improves the firm’s enterprise application architecture in alignment with our Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

The Senior Enterprise Architect will help define architecture standards, roadmaps, governance models, and reusable patterns that connect business capabilities with scalable, secure, and integrated technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure IaaS/PaaS, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot).
• Experience with ServiceNow APM / Enterprise Architecture modules.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns using Microsoft Azure services (API Management, Logic Apps).
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and guardrails for secure, scalable delivery.
• Document architecture standards and roadmaps in ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes and solution approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams as an architecture advisor to identify risks and integration challenges.
