Job summary

Stride, Inc. is seeking a Cloud FinOps Specialist to oversee cloud program operations, governance, cost optimization, and financial reporting across AWS, Azure, and other platforms.

You will collaborate with Technology, Data, Product and Finance teams as well as vendors to maintain a holistic view of cloud roadmap and usage. The role emphasizes designing dashboards, applying cost governance, budgeting, forecasting, and tracking AWS Marketplace subscriptions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• 8 years IT finance and cloud experience OR
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis skills.
• Experience developing data analytics dashboards and reporting.
• Experience with cloud cost management tools.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to travel 5%.

Responsibilities

• Monitor finances and produce cloud-related financial reports.
• Lead cost savings through optimization and governance.
• Develop data dashboards and regular cost usage reports.
• Plan capacity, budgets, and forecasts for new workloads.
• Integrate financial systems with cloud billing.
• Define and implement Cloud FinOps practices across the organization.
• Collaborate with finance and IT on cost management framework.
• Create dashboards for stakeholders.
• Manage AWS Marketplace subscriptions lifecycle.
• Explain cloud cost concepts to diverse audiences.
