Job summary

World Vision is seeking a Cloud FinOps Analyst to align Finance, IT, and engineering around cloud spend. You will analyze multi-cloud usage (AWS, Azure, GCP), build dashboards and executive reports, and drive cost transparency across our global footprint.

In collaboration with Finance and business units, you will establish rolling cloud budgets and forecasts, enforce governance and tagging standards, design chargeback/showback models, and lead cost-optimization initiatives such as rightsizing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IS, CS, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of cloud financial management, cost optimization, or FinOps.
• Proficiency with cloud cost tools and BI/reporting solutions.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and P&L reconciliation.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights and executive summaries.
• Technical collaboration with IaC, scripting, and DevOps to embed cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Aggregate, normalize, and analyze multi-cloud consumption data (AWS, Azure, GCP) to identify trends, anomalies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and executive-level reports on cloud spend, forecast accuracy, and cost allocation.
• Partner with Finance and business unit leaders to establish rolling cloud budgets, consumption forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Implement and enforce FinOps governance policies, tagging standards, and budget guardrails to ensure adherence to financial controls.
• Design, deploy, and refine chargeback and showback mechanisms that allocate cloud costs to product lines and projects.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to execute rightsizing, RI/Savings Plan procurement, spot strategies, and automated shutdowns.
• Lead FinOps training workshops and provide advisory to senior leadership on cloud financial implications.
