Job summary

CLA is seeking a Security Architect – Cloud & Enterprise Security to lead security operations, cloud security, and automation within the IT Security Services team. The role emphasizes hands-on design and implementation, incident response leadership, and collaboration with business stakeholders and third parties.

The ideal candidate has strong Azure knowledge, experience with Sentinel/Defender tools, and a track record in security automation and threat hunting.

Qualifications

• Experience investigating complex security incidents.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure; AWS security experience preferred.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs.
• Experience developing security automations and workflows.
• Familiar with AI-assisted security tools such as Security Copilot.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to lead initiatives.
• Familiar with NIST, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CCSP.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve security operations with Microsoft tools.
• Lead or support complex security investigations and incident response.
• Develop threat-hunting queries, detection logic, and playbooks.
• Provide security architecture guidance for Azure and cloud environments.
• Develop scripts and automated workflows using PowerShell and REST APIs.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate triage and reporting while ensuring oversight.
• Create security standards, diagrams, and operational documentation.
• Mentor teammates and promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
