You will architect and secure Azure workloads, assist AWS as needed, and drive automation using PowerShell and REST APIs, while mentoring teammates and aligning security with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7 years of general IT experience, with 4 in security and 2 in security design/strategy.
• Bachelor's degree required, combination of education and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and improve security operations using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, and related technologies.
• Lead or support complex security investigations including evidence collection, analysis, containment, and post-incident review.
• Develop threat-hunting queries, detection logic, playbooks, and monitoring standards.
• Provide security architecture and operational guidance for Azure environments; support AWS or other clouds as needed.
• Develop scripts and automated workflows using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and Azure services.
• Utilize Microsoft Security Copilot or AI tools to accelerate triage, generate reports, and automate workflows.
• Evaluate AI-assisted security processes for accuracy, privacy, and access control.
• Create reusable security standards, diagrams, and operational documentation; mentor team members.
