Job summary

CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking a Security Architect - Cloud & Enterprise Security to join our technology team in Wisconsin. This hands-on leader strengthens security operations, cloud security, incident response, and automation capabilities across our firm.

You will design and implement scalable security solutions, guide analysts and business stakeholders, and lead projects using Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, and Defender for Cloud, with Azure expertise and AWS

Qualifications

7 years of general IT experience, 4 in security, 2 in security design/strategy.
Bachelor's degree required; combination of experience and training may be accepted.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud.
Strong Microsoft Azure knowledge; AWS is also considered.
Proficiency with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and related integration tech.
Experience developing security automation and response workflows.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and improve security operations using Microsoft security stack.
Lead or support complex security investigations, containment, and post-incident reviews.
Develop threat-hunting queries, detection logic, and monitoring standards.
Provide security architecture guidance for Azure environments and cloud configurations.
Develop scripts and automated workflows; integrate systems using APIs.
Evaluate AI-assisted security processes for accuracy, privacy, and oversight.
Communicate findings and required controls to technical and non-technical audiences.
